The Bodaibo gold-bearing district in the Lena gold province of Siberia is one largest and oldest placer provinces world. Approximately 1650 tons has been extracted from region. Precise studies on source these unique deposits are lacking still controversial. Native four different locations was gathered to investigate its morphology, chemical signatures, structure inclusions. Some data primary bedrock mineralization were obtained published literature. linear weathering crusts developed along zones disjunctive dislocations near Sukhoi Log deposit researched. If they coincided with low-grade veinlet-disseminated gold–quartz–sulphide small grain sizes, a supergene replacement known have occurred, accompanied by formation gold-rich rims an increase size, content purity gold. Such associated can be local eluvial–proluvial placers, while placers large valleys formed due low-sulphide gold–quartz lodes.
